The purpose of edga protection barrier

The edga protection barrier has two primary purposes, the first is to create a temporary fence around the perimeter of a working area to keep the workforce safe from accidentally falling. Often on high rise building projects, when the core structure is being built, there are no external walls. Therefore in order to work safely, a temporary fencing system is required to help prevent accidents and keep the workforce safe.

The second purpose of the edge protection system is to stop materials and debris from leaving the worksite & falling. The mesh barriers will stop large items from rolling or falling, but we have also added a kickplate to the bottom of the barrier to ensure that smaller debris is stopped from escaping underneath the barrier.
