The gabion net is made of high-corrosion, high-strength, ductile low-carbon steel wire or the above steel wire covered with PVC by mechanical weaving. The box-shaped structure made of this net is the gabion cage. According to ASTM and EN standards, the diameter of low carbon steel wire used varies according to engineering design requirements.
